I realize too many years have passed and there's really no good way to redo how my favorite Star Trek series ended.  But it would be cool to see Voyager come back in a movie and say they have to return to the Delta Quadrant for a mission. Perhaps by now they have improved warp engine technology or invented another type of engine that allows them to travel faster so that traveling into the Delta Quadrant was feasible. Or Voyager could be the prototype ship for new engine technology and needs to be tested by sending it on a long journey. Just some ideas, I really would like to see Voyager come back in a spectacular way. Even a TV movie of it would be nice.

I agree with what others said i would have changed the ending. I would have liked to have seen the voyager crew and their reactions to being home again on earth. I know why they did what they did to try and get good ratings. But i really would have liked to have seen their reactions to being home on earth and what they would do and how people like seven of nine would go about their lives now that they are on earth.

I would change only 2 things:
- Seven and Chakotay should go together 5 episodes before endgame, not 1
- Janeway should get a man, at the end she is kind of alone

JoCat is so right!! I think the same, I don't want to live without new Voy episodes!! In this movie (or series) the whole crew should come (+childs from Tom and B'Ellana and maybe from Seven and Chakotay) and go for a new thrilling mission!!

Seven of Nine bored me. She was brought on as eye candy in a skin tight uniform in hopes of boosting the ratings with her body. It worked mind you but I still found her annoying.

More more more Borg ep's should have been aired.

I also agree that Voyager should have got more and more damaged as the years went on. So much so they had to splice her with alien technology they found making the ship a multi hybrid mix of technology from different cultures.

Evil Kess was stupid.

I would have liked to have seen more change in the series. A great example of this is the new astrometrics lab that was brought in. Most of the show took place in either the bridge, engineering, sickbay, the mess hall or a random corridor. It was too repetitive. Also, ranks and roles should have changed. For example, head of security could have changed to another person for a season or two, like doctor Pulaski in TNG. This is just an example. I would have also liked episdoes to connect together better like in DS9. When you watch the next episode, the ship looks brand new. You wouldn't have a clue what has happened before this.

I'd also like to add that the Equinox was a PERFECT way to introduce new characters, and even an additional ship for a few episodes. They could have then written it out somehow. Maybe dismantle the ship and make improvements to Voyager? Who knows? There was so much lost potential in the Voyager series. It was my favourite Star Trek, and one of my favourite shows of all time, but I'm just pointing out that they could have made it my favourite show ever.

What would have happened if the borg transwarp conduit lead somewhere else? Besides that, I think it would have been nice to see more of the federation timeship Relativity

100% agreed! The Equinox had such great potential for the show. What a lost opportunity. Sigh!

>I would have handled the Borg differently. I loved the two-part Borg episodes, but they sort of made them out to be not a big threat. They probably should have been around less, and been more fierce.

>with the borg.....it could only go down after Best of both worlds 1 and 2 .... they at that point had created the perfect enemy .... and even though data found a way to put the borg to sleep ... the borg mystic itself didnt lose any luster from that ....

>but it would have been impossible to have them encounter a cube that could destory a fleet of ships every time they had an episode with the them so they watered the borg down .. to the point where janeway was able to outmanuever multiple borg ships when ever they enountered them .... (yes i know that 7 of 9's un derstanding of the borg did give voyager a unique defense against the borg, but still...) they also didnt do the borg any justice in the first TNG movie.

If they were around less, then it would make us wonder where the heck they come from.

Here's what bothered me most: the Borg Queen.

I thought she was the least Borg-like of anyone and she took away from the whole stability of the Borg concept.

Hi, I realise I'm a little late to the party! I remember looking forward to the start of the new  Star Trek Voyager series when I was 17 having loved TNG. I never seemed to get into it at the time, i suspect my social life probably played a part in that. However having re watched seasons 1-4 of TNG via netflix (they haven't put the rest up in the UK) I thought I'd give Voyager another go. I watched the entire series on lovefilm between December and now. I think watching it like that in such a short space of time allows you to really follow the character development.

I have finished watching Endgame now for the 3rd time, and it still ends the same way each time! The wrong way!

I do think that Janeway and Chakotay should have got together earlier in  the series. I think it would have thrown up some interesting dilemmas throughout the course of the series. It was clear that they had a great understanding of each other and their personalities ,although different, complemented each other. I don't think it would have been at the expense of her authority as a captain either.I didn't like the way their friendship suffered towards the end. I thought Janeway seemed so alone when they finally reached the Alpha Quadrant. He should have been standing with her when they launched out of the Borg sphere. The distance between them upset me at the end of the series

I didn't believe the Seven/Chakotay relationship, perhaps i read too much into his relationship with Janeway. I felt it undermined everthing they had been through together.

I would have got rid of Seska's character earlier and had less episodes involving the Kazon.

I would have cut the episode where Kes goes on one and comes back to destroy Voyager, was never that keen on her as a character though tbh.

The crews seemed too accepting of their fate once they arrived in the delta quadrant. They didn't resist the two crews merging which given the strong resistance background of the Maquis seemed unnatural.

i would also have erased the Tak Tak and their weird body positionings, although did make me chuckle

I would have liked another 15 minutes or so on the season finale where we get the emotional payoff of seing the crew actually dissembark and be greeted home.

It honestly didnt need much changing to it. Thats why I liked it so much. But I would have made Endgame a 3 parter instead of where it left off. Any one who has read any of my posts probably knows this already but I guess I felt like being a broken record today.

I agree with you guys about not having any more new episodes for Voyager. They would just ruin it, in my opinion.
