Hi everyone, I'm curious if there is an individual credited for making all the sound effects in TNG (Modern Sound?) or any articles on it. Additionally I'm interested to find out how all the Computer boops and beeps were created. Anybody know?

I did a little quick research at it appears that there are a few people credited with sound effects:

James Wolvington

Wilson Dyer

Mace Matiosian

Yea... there are few others I found, but figured that this would get you started.

Oh... I don't have access to my book right now, but the TNG Technical manual talks about it too.  I found a mention of it on Google books saying that TNG sound effect was the responsibility of associate producer Wendy Neuss.  Also mentioned in that paragraph are Bill Wistrom, Jim Wolvington and assistant sound effects editor Tomi Tomita.
