There's one called The 34th Rule set during Rom's nagusy that I enjoyed -- but I always did like the ferengi. I'd love to hear it in audiobook form, but haven't yet.

If your into Dax, there is a great book called-The lives of Dax by Marco Palmieri


 Personally, I enjoyed the background on Dax. Hope this helps!

The Dominion War books 1-4(1998) are really good although two of them are TNG books.
