Has the enterprise ever made a magnetic field?

Ok so I'm in a Star Wars vs Star Trek debate.  HOORAY!!! another one

Anyhow i've come to the point where I can actually win this.

Allow me to explain Star Wars weapons are basically plasma based and since they are all you would need is strong magnetic field to repel them.

Star Wars ships can't do this because as we see in A New Hope the X-wings and everything else in Star Wars is affected by magnetic fields.

Now I know in Voygar they use a magnetic pusle from the deflector arey to scare off giant space bugs so its clear that magetnic fields dont' really affect Star Trek ships.

So I need to know of any episodes of Star Trek where they use a magnetic field and hopefully its a strong magnetic field.

If I'm not mistaken, the shields in Star Trek are essentially powerful electro-static force fields, which block out most forms of energy/matter from reaching a ship’s hull.  I always think of the shields like an amped up version of our Earth's magnetic field that protects us from the sun's deadlier solar radiation.

I’m not an astrophysicist, LOL, and it’s all fictional science, so basically the shields will do whatever the writers and producers want it to.

From Memory Alpha

Naturally-occurring magnetic fields, such as from planets' polar regions, can interfere with sensors and transporters. (TNG: "Final Mission"; DS9: "Whispers"; Star Trek Into Darkness)

During a scan of Aldean DNADoctor Beverly Crusher was able to confirm that a failure of the magnetic field ofAldea was not responsible for the Aldeans' sterility. (TNG: "When The Bough Breaks")

Lieutenant Jadzia Dax read high magnetic field variations while an energy creation approached to the four Starfleetofficers inside the Wadi game Chula. (DS9: "Move Along Home")

Federation runabout hulls are made out of metallic composites which interact with magnetic fields. In 2369 ChiefMiles O'Brien upgraded a probe with a differential magnometer and was able to detec the missing USS Yangtzee Kiang. (DS9: "Battle Lines")

Duranium alloy emits a magnetic field that can interfere with sensors. (DS9: "Dramatis Personae")

Artificial magnetic fields, better know as electromagnetic fields, can be created and manipulated for a number of uses, including containing antimatter in antimatter containmnet pods, magnetizing gravity boots, and generating anelectromagnetic pulse to jam communications. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical ManualENT: "Babel One", DS9: "Sacrifice of Angels")
