Chatbots like Negobot use such processes as artificial intelligence, natural language processing and machine learning to react to users' specific comments and remember past conversations.

The bot — which can speak multiple languages thanks to translation technology — is also programmed to act in a manner that could be considered vulnerable, trusting and naïve.

Although designed to trap pedophiles on-line the same software could be programmed to think exactly like Data does.

The above example talked about would be a single specific block within Data's Synaptic Pathways out of billions of such blocks.

Each block would be labeled under specific categories such as Emotions and Logic. These two blocks would further be tied into other blocks for example one being Science.

As the alogrythms present in the Logic section deduce the scientific information correctly based upon mathematical formula's both proven and theorized about the first being Proven Formula's Math and if the information discovered does not fit into any of the proven sub-blocks the pattern then accesses the Theorized Formula's Math where mathematical theories possibly matching the scientific discovery are then thought about until a pattern of logic matches. if a pattern of logic for either Proven Formula's Math or Theorized Formula's Math are not met the algorythum  then switches to Proven Formula's Philosophical to see if the scientific discovery matches or comes close to a Philosophical based thought such as inscribings on the side of the object deduced into a Mathematical pattern that had been discovered on another planet. If the PFP Block fails to return a positive result then the pattern switches to the Theoretical Formula's Philosophical where the search continus until a conclusion is made. During the process of Block Switching the Emotion Block would cause Data to respond in numerous ways where his respone would come from the Overjoyed, Angst, Happy, Sad, Angry Blocks that would respond based upon how the software functions that can be read about in the article. If an Emotional Value had not been experienced before based upon the discovery then the experience itself would be stored in the Random Encounter Block where all experiences that have not had an emotional value assigned to them are stored until a second condition exists where the parameters of the experience open the logic pathways into the Random Encounter Block and then draw from that block an emotional value based upon a similar past experience. Once two experiences have been encountered that are similar, for example Data encounters a certain flower on a planet that tickles his feet that is blue and purple and on a different planet he encounters a fish that is red and gree tickles his feet as he dangles them in the water the experience would trigger the Random Encounter Block even though the two objects causing the sensation are completely different the feeling is the same thus causing Data's thoughts to access the Emotion Block once more where he would select an emotional value to attach to the fish tickling his toes which could be the same are entirely different.

Then there is the Secondary Encounter Block. The Secondary Encounter Block maintains a second by second partion that is constantly Scanning the Random Encounter Block for experiences that were first encountered that made Data sad.  Let's take for instance Data stubbing his toe. In the first encounter Data would have experienced Pain, Fear and Anger or Amusement based upon other environemental factors associated with the first toe stabbing such as Gordi being present where Data would have learned that making a joke about the stubbing with Gordi would have brought Wonderment to Gordi which would have caused Data to access other pathways to return an emotional repsonse based upon Data and Gordi's prior experiences together opposed to Worf being present where Excitement at the sensation of pain would have caused Data to return another set of emotional values once again based upon Data and Worf's prior experience together.

All of the areas in bold would be Main Blocks, Sub-Blocks, and Storage Blocks where the Emotional Values for each experience are stored and are thought about combined to return an emotional value result based on a past experience or combined to return a different emotional value based upon a past experience that would be completely different from the intial experience and emotional value assigned to the experience.

......Blue Skies shining on me.....Nothing but Blue Skies do I see.

Now how did that effect your Emotional Block? And what type of emotion did you attach and store for each of the experiences relating to the clouds, sun, mountains, the grass and the hills? Were there thoughts about what was on the other side of the clouds? What emotion did such a thought invoke in you Data?

Write it down and when you encounter another such experience write it down and see how it correlates with your first cloud bursting experience. Continue to record each experience and then send them to The University of Deusto in Spain where they can be used to program Synapatic Memory Blocks for use in the first series of Data Automaton's.

A bullfrog with a light in its belly is nothing more than a glutton looking to shine otherwise.
