>All of L'waxana Troi's outfits, however seemly from
one view, or another, were always revealing in other
ways just as inappropriate. Like this immodest frock.

>She looks like the Madam of a brothel, instead of an
ambassador. Perhaps this title is just honorary, or self-
appointed (although Picard believed she was a real one)?

As to what her outfit would've preferably been, who knows?
A white turtleneck, perhaps, with a black, baggy, button-
down shirt, with khaki pants and brown orthopedic shoes.

I'm loving this picture. I'm much younger than she was here, but damn I wish I had that body!

and did you really just say orthopedic shoes?????

Uh-huh! Orthopedic shoes and granny panties are
Must-Haves for the "mature" woman's wardrobe ...

As for your body supposedly not being as "sexy"
as L'waxana's was in this photo, let me say this:

A lot of old(er) ladies are hitting the gym ...
much to the chagrin of the young women, there.
They end up getting in the way and slowing down
the REAL hotties. Yeah, these grannies get a hard(er)
body, but it never looks natural and it doesn't change
anything about their baggy head.

Only plastic surgery can tackle the face, unfortunately.
And in the end, it only makes you look like a Muppet.

But you can have any kind of body you want to, provided you
put in the required effort ... and you know it, well, willowtree!

so at this point I'm just going ahead and assuming that you're trolling. Anything further you say on this subject I'm taking as you just purposely trying to be a dick.

willowtree!!!

You seem to have misread me, methinks!
I like you. I really do! I was just sharing some
thoughts on the tendency of some elderly women trying
to look and act young ... even using gyms to achieve
this "goal" ... and the utter futility of it all, in the end.
Exercising for health reasons is one thing and I am all
for it. But to do so for vanity? That's something else ...

Willow, seriously giveup. It's a lost cause. Either they're trolling this topic to be a dick or they seriously believe their statements. Either one is useless to even bother with.

Honey, I know women in their 50s that are hotter than any woman in their 20s.  I can kill it in the gym better than most women 15 years younger than me.

I stand by the theory that anyone who thinks like this guy does isn't worth any woman's time of day. A woman's body is like a violin. Over time the music it produces becomes more beautiful and it tales a true a aficionado to make it sing. Only amateurs are afraid of older women because their lack of skill doesn't impress them the way it would a 20 year old with no experience.

i always Liked Lwaxana . . . She acted Exactly Like my Mother. . . ."Formality is for the Birds". . . . . Lwaxana brought a more seasoned view of Relationships, Vs the Middle School Style Relationships of Deanna etc. . . . . watching her Speak her Mind to Piccard, Worf etc, was hilarious. . . . .

Dont know howmany caught this Subtlety, to Intercept the Ferengi Vessle & save Riker & the Troi's, Enterprise was at Warp 8. . . .after rescue, & Lwaxana annoyances, Piccard returned her to Betazed at Warp 9.

I liked the humor of the Lwaxana episodes.  It was a lighter aspect of what was portrayed with all of the TNG main characters'(aside from Laforge) difficult family relationships.

@netral - That episode is enjoyable.  One of the best moments is when Alexander walks up to Worf and simply says, "Father, the higher, the fewer," then walks away.  Also, LOGIC WILL LIVE!
