Where's my order from the Star Trek Store?

I pre ordered and paid in advance for an Art Asylum Nemesis Enterprise-E ship in July 2011 through the official Star Trek Store. I was emailing the site every few months, and getting the reply,


"We sincerely appreciate your timely reply, and your continued patience while we
await the arrival of inventory. Please note that we do not have a firm date of
receipt for this item, but we assure you that your order will be shipped as
soon as possible. A shipping confirmation will be e-mailed immediately after
the order has departed our warehouse.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.

Recently I noticed on the Star Trek Shop, this product was available, so I mailed customer service, and they informed me...


"Thank you for your email. I regret that you have reached the Star Trek Shop, and your order was made at Star Trek Store. I regret that the two stores are not associated. This website has been removed as of the first of the new year. You may still email for further assistance. I apologize for any inconvenience. If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

I have emailed 4 times over three months, and have yet to recieve a reply. Have I been hustled? What are my rights in this circumstance? I payed a lot for this ship, as it needed postage to Australia, and would really like to know what's going on here!

I have the same problem. I placed an order in November, and I was told that because of "inventory issues" the item had to be shipped in December. I've sent them three emails, and I have not heard anything yet (except from StarTrekShop who told me that the store closed). I did not get my money back either.

This seems to be a common theme with the Star Trek shop.  A while back, I had ordered a ship from them and after quite a while of waiting (long past when I was supposed to receive it) and many attempts at communication, they finally let me know that they had inventory issues and cancelled my order.  I have heard several others have the same problem.

I then made the same order from and received the item very quickly.



If you paid for something and have not received it, I suggest contacting your credit card company and try getting the money back that way.  You can show them the e-mail trail.
