>I was wondering the same thing... and after some research, basic excel skills and a bit of logic, I have created the unofficial STAR TREK TRACKER!  It includes all movies and tv series laid out in release order including overlapping seasons.  I just started watching and only have 1 episode left to watch in TOS season 1... I have a long way to go!

I took a look at your excel sheet. I liked it. But it needs some tweaking. I can't figure out why you have Star Trek VI between Season 4 and 5 of TNG? Because if you are trying to place everything in production order, than you should also have Star Trek V placed during TNG. Star Trek V was released in 1989 and TNG began in 1987. But if you are going in chronological sequence, than you should have Star Trek VI placed before TNG. What was your intention here? And why do you have Generations placed between Season 2 and 3 of DS9? Generations came out during Season 3 of DS9, just before Voyager started. With First Contact and Insurrection, same question?

Alright, lets see if I can explain my logic.  I wanted to go in production/release order.  My rule was basically if a movie was release mid-season of any series, I placed it right before that particular season.  For example, Generations came out in November of 1994 which was a couple months into DS9 season 3, I placed it between seasons 2 and 3 in that case.  You were right about Final Frontier (I had the date as 1987 for some reason).  Since it was released at the tail end of TNG season 2, I decided to place it between season 2 and 3 in this instance (updated file uploaded to srcibd link).  Thanks! let me know if it needs more tweaking, besides breaking it down to individual episodes   haha

Start with Enterprise. 1) It is the closest to our time, so there is no need to put up with the commanding female officer being called "Sir." Cannot understand why GR allowed that in Next Generation and why it continued in Deep Space 9. Thank goodness no one in Enterprise made that error. Also, is the prequell so it predates TOS.

TOS, best top three characters (Kirk, Spock, McCoy). The standard as far as the ST universe morals are concerned. Introduces the Prime Directive. All though that might have been simply a plot complecation. See "Bread and circus" I think that is the 1st time Prime Directive is mentioned.

The rest can be watched in chronological order following TOS. The movies (re TOS) came decades after the show was cancelled, so I'd wait to watch those last of all.

Blalock & Nimoy were the best two actors in the Star Trek universe. Go Vulcans!
