Hello, I have read up on it and I am truely intrigued. My problem however is there is not enough info I'd like information from a player's perspective.

What would you like to know?

Well some general info from a gamer's perpective, though not a hardcore gamer since this is only the 3rd online game I've played and the 2nd I've ever played at any length.

As a Star Trek fan, being in Starfleet and getting your own ship really makes me geek out a lot, even still.

The game itself has a lot of Star Trek feel to it, though it is heavy on the action as a game usually is. I enjoy the assignments you can give your 'crew' feels like being a Captain, since you have to manage your ship to some degree. Once you max out your level it becomes a grind, but getting all the level 12 gear is worth it.

I still haven't joined a fleet yet, and that's more stuff to do, and they are adding the Romulans as a playable race with the already unlocked Klingons and Federation, so that should be fun.

If you have any specifics feel free to ask, everyone here who plays are very helpful.

Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?

The Romulan storyline is much better than the Federation, so I'd wait a few days for the Legacy of Romulus expansion to launch (and a few more days for the servers to calm down) before starting.
