Star Wolf Campaign Story

Anyone else looked at this story. For those unfamiliar with Gerrold, he wrote Trek episodes, most famously "Trouble with Tribbles."

His Star Wolf books are very interesting read, and I recommend them for scifi fans.

Anyone else read the books or looked at the campaign?

The Tribbles episodes are entirely overrated.

I do not care at all for this idea. Get rid of him.

Don't hold back-tell us how you really feel.

I highly recommend his books. They are well done.

It's a cool name and sounds like a good ship.

In the books, the Star Wolf doesn't get its name because it is considered a pariah of the fleet and is sent on all the suicidal missions. Gerrold takes his time and describes the ship, the different crewmembers as well as their enemy. It is one of the few novels I have read (beyond say Dune and the like) that tries to combine space operatric themes with some harder, more techinical descriptive work.

For those not impressed with Tribbles episodes, I think that it is worth giving at least one book a chance. For science fiction fans, it provides a break from Star Wars, Star Trek and the like.
