That is a really good question. I suppose inbetween scenarios they had the Doctor make sure she regenerated, but I can't prove that.

Yeah, it's all I got too. The Hirogen seemed to like hunting her, so maybe the allowed the Doctor to send her to her alcove inbetween Sickbay visits.
