I figured this would be the place to come for helping solving a little mystery that I am dealing with. I recently acquired a Great Bird of the Galaxy II print by Michael David Ward. It is printed on canvas, and it appears to be a licensed print of the original. It also appears to be signed by William Shatner. I have no information for the print at all. If you have any information about print run or what type of print it could be, please let me know. I'm almost certain that the print is from the Star Trek event in El Paso in 2003 but, that is about all I know. I can't find any record of one being sold online or whether it is even a collectible piece of art.

(Couldn't figure out how to attach a picture but, if anybody needs one, just send me your e-mail address or tell me how to post it here... thanks!)

You must upload the picture must be somewhere on the internet and then just copy it into the reply area from the internet location.  If you have a link to the picture, place it here and we can help you out.

As for finding out information about the painting, you might contact Lightspeed Fine Arts as they sell a lot of Ward's paintings.

Here is the link to the picture itself, I really don't know what type of print it is. Like I said, it is on canvas that is not mounted or stretched onto a frame. The painting looks like acrylic paint but, I know for sure that it is not an original. Most likely a giclee?

That is it. Shatner's autograph is on the "Earth" at the bottom right of the picture. I haven't had any responses from Light Speed Fine Arts or anyone... not even the artist's company. I would really love to find some information out about this print but, it is seeming more and more impossible.
