Star Trek

I was part of a theater group at my school (University of Wisconsin - Madison) that performed an original Star Trek/sci fi parody musical called Space Voyage: The Musical Frontier, written, produced, and performed completely by students. It's sort of similar to A Very Potter Musical, but probably less like a parody and more like an actual musical. It was a success on campus, but I'd love to hear what people outside of my college think. You can just ignore this post if you're not interested, I just wanted to hear some feedback. Thanks.

This franchise seems very reluctant to explore
the potential of presenting in this fashion, but a
STAR TREK musical could only be done on a stage,
in live theatre. Personally, I can't see it being successful,
in any other format. But I would encourage the experiment,
as it has appeared to be successful, to see if it's luck holds.
I would be interested in seeing STAR TREK as a play, even.

There are a few instances when it's difficult to tell what people are saying but on the whole yeah this is kind of cute.

I found the play to be quite enjoyable.  Well done.

I don't know how it is possible to have a Star Trek musical. It just doesn't make sense to me. I will have to watch this though when I get the chance
