I'm currently reading David R. George, III's book Star Trek Typhon Pact: Rough Beasts Of Empire (2011).  His descriptions of the actions in the battles and in personal combats are really well-written, and his Romulan politics are byzantine!


It is a great prelude to his other two Typhon Pact books Plagues Of Night and Raise The Dawn.
