I agree that it is a long shot. To me it seems to good to be true. But I would die if they could bring back Enterprise. Its my favorite Star trek series and it still has potential. I mean, the fact that Brannon Braga is still thinking about Enterprise says something.

They had the plot for the fifth season pretty well thought out. The romulans were going to be the main villians and they were going to make T'pol finally meet her father and discover that she is half Romulan and that was why she was having trouble controlling her emotions. it was also going to show how the Federation came into being. I think it still has the potential to make a great series. Anyone else with me?

Wow I am totally onboard! I just don't know how they could do this and make it work, but I am by no means opposed to it. Forget just a 5th season, let's bring on a 6th and 7th season and give this show the treatment it deserves!

It would be great if there was a fifth, sixth and seventh seasons of Enterprise.

Cost of rebuilding the Enterprise sets alone would be astronomical . Pratice three possible ways making end meet. First is simplest just having the next movie us Enterpise sets differnt parts for at least smell part of it. I at least suggestion two ideas movies for it. Both in Twlight timeline and idea Borg show up because Vuclan destory red matter. Kirk looking into all records of NX Enterpise contact Borg.
Then of course option having at lest big part at least at first use for fans to vist during Star Terk convents that I also suggestion like at least all the big parts of the ship. NX-01 command bridge, engeering and armor maybe transpotors and maybe sickbay.
Last possible ways if enough people watch if Netfic able afford do entire thing by it self. Or if somone welling giving a million dollars.

I would be excited for an Enterprise revival. I would even be happy to kick up a couple hundred bucks, Kickstarter style, to see it happen. They should do some sort of fund raising. That is assuming they ignore the series Finale and resurrect Trip. ENT wouldn't be the same without him.

The events on the holodeck simulation in the last Enterprise episode were set around 6-7 years after season 4 during the crews last mission. So Trip would still be alive for a hypothetical season 5.

I don't know how this could be made well since giant networks drop sci-fi shows all the time for being too expensive. How could an online streaming company hope to keep up great production values that this show would require? The sets and especially the cgi wouldn't be cheap, and if they did make it cheap no one would want to watch it.
Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?

Make it. It has the brand and the fanbase.
People are going to watch it. The future of the franchise is up in the air w/ J.J. Abrams heading over to Star Wars, and it may take them even longer to crank out a good story.
Look how long it took them the last time. And I’ll tell you that probably had more to do with story than $.
Though I can’t wait to watch the new one. It will almost certainly be freaking awesome.
Also, think about all the conventions. You could even suspend all conventions unless people agreed to watch it, which would drive the fans nuts.
Then run some commercials with a new cast member recommending the series pro bono. “See where it all began. Blah, blah, blah, blah, I’m a millionaire.”
Star Trek has never been about top notch effects anyway, at least on t.v. Just do what all the other series have done: plunk them in Griffith Park and have them run around acting with toy phasers.
P.S. I sort of liked the Xindi. At least they didn’t show the bird people.
