Han Solo vs. the Mirror's Sisko

Vador Vs 7 of 9 or Data unarmed or Warf light sabor vs. mek'leth

Princess Lea vs. Kira or Tasha

Chewy vs. Warf or Odo

Luke vs. Worf or Spock (this is hard, not many men in Trek with psychic abilities, even less who are also warriors, if Kira was a guy and a resitance fighter + Vedic that would be perfect)

Lando ??? (All I can think of is as a rogue he and Han would go well in a Farangi adventure, but fighting the aformentioned Mirror's Sisko would knock him out with a left cross before he know the fight started for the entirety of adventrue)

Droids clearly Data, but not in combat, would have to be skill based, although Spock could also outthink C3PO

You get the idea, please list more and/or adjust the above at your pleasure.

If you list ships please no ent vs. star destroyers that's good vs. bad where bad was almost unstoppable like the borg, maybe the Defiant or Ent NX-01 vs. the Falcon

Haven't seen one of these vs threads for a long time...

Han Solo vs. the Mirror's Sisko

I'd say they're pretty even; Han is supposed to be a quick-draw and an expert marksman, so might come out on top in a gunfight, but I wouldn't like to bet on the outcome of a brawl.

Vador Vs 7 of 9 or Data unarmed or Warf light sabor vs. mek'leth

Vader should be able to defeat 7 of 9 or Worf just by using the Force to choke them while lifting them off the floor; against Data, while the android is much stronger and faster than a human, Vader is a Sith Lord and one of the most powerful Force users of his time - his Force abilities, combat skills and the fact that the lightsaber can cleave Data in half in one blow would hand this one to him.

Princess Lea vs. Kira or Tasha

Kira and Tasha have this one; Leia is tough, but not quite as combat-oriented as the other two.

Chewy vs. Warf or Odo

Chewie vs Worf I'd suggest is fairly even in a straight up fight; Chewie is a good fighter and a little stronger than Worf with further reach, while Worf appears to be a more skilled bladesman and martial artist.

Chewie vs Odo - the shapeshifter would win, his abilities are just too difficult to deal with without weapons.

Luke vs. Worf or Spock (this is hard, not many men in Trek with psychic abilities, even less who are also warriors, if Kira was a guy and a resitance fighter + Vedic that would be perfect)

If it's Jedi Luke, then he would win for similar reasons as Vader; if it isn't, Spock and Worf should be able to wipe the floor with him.

Oh, and I too would love to see Han and Lando in a Ferengi adventure.

You can't really compare Jedi characters to anyone else. They'd block any phaser fire with thei lightsabers and then just leap forward and cut the opponent to bits. Game over in two seconds.

Worf vs chewie is the best of the ones you suggested. Chewie is physically stronger and would win in a straight up "street fight" but if you give Worf his Bat'leth and room to manuver he'd win.

Lea obviously isn't going to win hand to hand against Tasha or Keira, but she could hold her own with ranged weopons. She's still not as good a marksman as Tasha, though.

The Millenium Falcon wouldn't compare to any Federation ship I don't think. I think in Star Trek terms it would pretty much be a freighter with better than average weopons and lots of special modifications. The Dominion vs The Empire would be a great space battle, though.

The ultimate Star Trek vs Star Wars debate is always Kirk vs Han Solo. I'm surprised no one's talked about that.

I would love to see Lando and Han in DS9 playning tongo, or trying to outscam Quark and his brother.

If TOS and not movies, Kirk would win in a brawl, I saw him with his shirt off in an episode and for his weight range he could have been a proffessional weight lifter, and is much more acrabatic than Han, and a phasor could blow up a whole building.

Wouldn't Chewy just use his crossbow to shoot Warf having sword and no phasor?

Luke Jedi Knight vs. Q to powerful, but on wide range a light saber couldn't stop phasor, it cud incinerate 50-yards X50-yards from 1/4 mile away

Could Vulkan, Bajorin, Batazoid and Trill Psi counter jedi and sith force attacks?

These kinds of discussions are pointless. A better comparison would be how each one has impacted the real world.

Star Trek has influenced cell phone technology helped people explore the difficult choices and views that bother sentient life. Star Wars influences men who should know better to get together in their bath robes and flail at each other with plastic sticks.

I'd suggest though that this also falls into the problems of being largely unquantifiable; there's no way of measuring which impact is more direct or is "better", and I'd argue that impact on the real world doesn't necessarily translate to a show being more enjoyable.

Star Trek has influenced cell phone technology...

While it is true that it was an inspiration for the phone's creator, it didn't influence the actual technological aspects of the device. Conversely, it should be noted that Star Wars was directly responsible for the creation and evolution of much of the movie special effects technology that we take for granted today via Industrial Light and Magic.

...helped people explore the difficult choices and views that bother sentient life.

To be fair though, this is true of most shows, Star Wars included.

Heh, you know what they say about people in glass houses not throwing stones...

Star Trek is also rather renowned for its... enthusiastic nerd culture.
