Storyline
Year 2389, the USS Arctic was found derelict and heavily damaged floating near the Klingon-Romulan Boarder. The ship was immediately taken back to the nearest Shipyard where the engineering team began to work tirelessly to repair the damage to the ships logs. It was not long before they were able to determine that the logs were too badly damaged to make an accurate account of the USS Arctic's movements that led up to its entire crew to disappear.
As the Klingon Raids on the Romulan Star Empire continue to grow in frequency, Star-Fleet has expedited the effort to Repair and Re-Crew the USS Arctic.
Task Force Storyline
ask Force 47: The Avengers, tasked with keeping the peace and aiding those who need it, patrol an area of the galaxy were the borders of the Federation, Romulan, & Klingon Empires meet. Under normal circumstances the meeting of these 3 powers makes for an environment of never ending intrigue. However with the destruction of the Romulan home world the area has exploded.
Federation relief efforts to aid it’s former enemy The resurgence of the Kzinti The destruction of Star Base 24 – and it’s reconstruction efforts Increases in smuggling Klingon raids into Romulan territory
It are these raids that have been of great concern to the Federation and the duty has fallen on Task Force 47 to repel them and secure the Romulan-Klingon border. So far these raids have been uncoordinated attacks by Klingon Captains seeking glory for themselves and their Houses. However the latest intelligence from within the Empire shows that the High Council is planning military operations to retake territory lost during the last Klingon-Romulan War. What will happen to the Federation-Klingon Peace Treaty when and if the Klingon Empire formally moves against the Romulan Star Empire? What will Rear-Admiral Da`nal of the House of Varal, commanding TF-47 and the USS Achilles, do if an attack comes?
