Star Trek

From what I can piece together from the scenes in the trailers, Kirk and Spock jump from a cliff to an ocean, Spock jumps from a building to the ground, and the Enterprise is beaten up real good and falls into earths atmosphere to skim across San Farncisco bay and into buildings on land... then later to end up in water it rises up out of as it did the rings of Saturn in the last movie.

Am I mistaken here?
