1. Let's see... at least 21 years!

2. No, but it sounds like fun.

3. When I was a kid, we watched TOS and Next Gen as a family on Sunday morning. Now I usually watch alone, but sometimes my son watches too!

4. No

5. I grew up watching it and I really like the characters.

1. How many years have you been a ST fan?

I've been watching Star Trek since 1989. I didn't become a fan, because I was so young, until 1994. So I would say 19 years ago, but 9 of those years, I barely watched the shows (1999-2008).

2. Have you ever been to a con? If so, how many?

I've never felt a draw to go to a convention of any sort.

3. Do you watch the show with other people? Friends or family?

I watched the show with my immediate family when I was younger. I occassionally still do. The most recent time was when we went to the movie theater to see "The Measure of a Man" and "Q Who?"

4. Do you decorate your home or office with ST memorbilia?

I used to when I was a child. I had all kinds of memorbilla. Today, I have Pistons and Bond posters on the wall, one of a Pablo Picasso painting, but I don't have anything Star Trek. I would want one piece that encompasses why I like the show. Something simple and looks good, if I got anything. Preferablly, something that could hang on the wall. I don't know if that item exists (see question 5).

5. Why are you a ST fan? :-)

Well, I was brought into it by a father and mother who were both fans of the Next Generation and the Star Trek movies in the 1980s-90s. It seemed cool to me when I was growing up. Wesley Crusher was my favorite character for my pre-teen years. I put it away for a long time, 10 years. It wasn't until Star Trek (2009), that I began to re-sample the show. What brought me back was the hope that Star Trek creates for a better future. That, and exceptional writing, good actors, and the imagination and wonderment of what we would find in space if we could travel at warp like the Starship Enterprise. There's a lot of it which makes it easy to get lost in.

Its stories are about the depth and complexity of human interaction and relationships. It studies us and asks us to look within ourselves, to relate, to ask how would we respond to all that is in their world?

1: Quite a lot.

2: Not yet.

3: My sister is a fan as well, though not as hardcore.

4: No, I've never been the kind to buy merchandise. All I have are the eleven movies and some episodes saved to my computer.

5: It gives me hope for the future.

1. How many years have you been a ST fan?

As long as I can remember--since before I was in kindergarten.

2. Have you ever been to a con? If so, how many?

I have, several, but none Trek-specific.  Mostly "generic" Sci-fi/Fantasy cons.

3. Do you watch the show with other people? Friends or family?

Sometimes, mostly I catch an episode on Netflix when I have an hour to myself late in the evening after everyone's gone to bed.

4. Do you decorate your home or office with ST memorbilia?

My desktop has rotating Trek pics, but that's about it.  As a kid, I used to have models and action figures all over the place.

5. Why are you a ST fan?

Because we can be better than we are now.

1. About 30 years.

2. I've never been to a proper Trek convention.

3. I started watching the show, about 30 years ago, when I would go to stay with one of my great-aunts who never misses an episode of TOS. Nowadays, I sometimes get my daughter to watch an episode of TNG with me. However, I almost always watch alone.

4. Kinda. I have the Kirk & Spock salt and pepper shakers in my kitchen.

5. I am a huge sci-fi fan and specifically, I just really love the style of Star Trek.

1. at least 36 years

2. Yes, I have been to four Star Trek Cons, two in Vegas, one in NY, and one in Boston.  I have also been to Comicon in San Diego, and met TNG stars there and Leonard Nimoy's son, Adam.

3.  I prefer to watch it alone, but other people in my family also like it.

4.  Yes.  I have Star Trek decorations and useable items including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room specific decorations, and many dolls in two display cases.  People keep giving me things because they know how much I like Star Trek.  I also have created my own art projects that are sci fi, and, or Star Trek influenced.  I have a planet painting print that I recently stretched to put over my sofa.

4.  I started liking it as a little girl, and got to be a big fan as a teenager. I really love the orignal series.  My first attraction to it was the Mr. Spock character, and then I got hooked on the stories.  I basically still like everything Nimoy has done, including Mission:Impossible and his photography, some of which I went to see in Connectictut.  I appreciate all art and especially Sci Fi related creativity, because I am also an artist.  I have met every living original series actor, including minor actors, and TNG actors, DS9 actors, Voyager actors....and I also enjoy these series.  But TOS is all that I collect and is my biggest love.

1. How many years have you been a ST fan?

About 20 years.

2. Have you ever been to a con? If so, how many?

No, although I have always wanted to go, it's on my "list of things to do before I die".

3. Do you watch the show with other people? Friends or family?

I was introduced to Star Trek from an early age by my Father and my eldest brother so we watched almost every new episode of TNG, DS9, & VOY together.

Today, I tend to watch it alone, on occasion with my brother and nephew.

*I got several of my friends and extended family in to Star Trek over the years.

4. Do you decorate your home or office with ST memorbilia?

I have several of the Enterprise (1701, A, D, E, NX-01) models in my home office, a few paintings I made as a teenager that my Mom framed for me years ago, and of course my star trek DVD collection takes up half my bookshelf.

5. Why are you a ST fan? :-)

I guess the obvious answer would be that I grew up with Star Trek.  Now that I am older I appreciate it on so many levels; the stories, characters, imaginative technology, and most of all the sense that humanity will find a way to overcome our sometimes barbaric traits in the future is an amazing dream for all of us to aspire to. Thanks Gene R.I.P.

46years. I was 5yo when it ran.

Been to two Conventions. Boston in 1976 and it was awesome! Then in St. Petersburg in 1995 (I think) and it sucked in comparison. I also saw Star Trek Live with Gene Roddenberry in Providence in 1977.

I usually watch it alone. When I lived with my son, my grandkids would watch with me sometimes.

No. I have a few items on shelves or on the tv stand and computer desk, but no area is really "decorated" in ST theme.

I'm a science fiction fan, Star Trek May have been the start of that, or at least partial. Planet of the Apes also figured into that. But Star Trek was sifferent somehow. Even at that early age I was aware that somethin socialy signifigant was being done.

Sure I'll give this a go as well.

1. I've always liked Star Trek, but it was not until 1997 when I moved away from home that I was able to get fully into it.

2. Yes -- one pop culture convention (covering more than just Star Trek but since I cosplayed as   I guess that counts.)

3. No I live alone, and not many of the people I encounter in everyday life are into it at all.

4. A little -- I have a few action figures and pictures and stuff.

5. Because, to be honest, Star Trek has some really good storytelling.
