Can you elaborate on your interpretation of progressive rock? Maybe I'm getting too old, but it seems people have different ideas on where this genre falls. Name a couple bands.

There's a kind of freedom in being totally screwed, you know things can't get any worse.

I am talking about bands like Yes, Genesis, and King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Eloy, Van derr Graff Generator and other obscure bands.

I hate the term "progressive rock." Yesterday's prog rock is today's pop rock. Or it becomes a one-hit wonder.
