Who can pass up a free ship...honestly?!

I'm very excited about this 3rd anniversary celebration.

Will the new ship actually give us anything new?  I know I got the Breen ship with the Winder event, but haven't even set foot on it.

Anything new like what?

All I know is that it is the Ambassador Class if your character is Federation. Can't remember what the ship was if you're Klingon. The ships are obtained after completing the new mission starring Denise Crosby.

It's a tool called Demorecord. It saves a map and everything in it, and you can reload it from the launcher and navigate around using your mouse.

I played the Q missions last night and I gotta say AWESOME! I just about had a nerdgasm.  The voiceovers, seeing my BOffs as NPCs, piloting the Enterprise!  I was chatting with a fleetmate who was also running it at the same time.  At first we were thinking "is this mirror me or is this real me in mirror"... it wasn't until Castillo showed up that I realized what was going on... and then when I figured out that the entire mission was set in the seconds between Ent-C entering the anamoly, in Yesterday's Enterprise, and it's return to it's own time--it got diverted.  I bout jumped out of my skin.

Kudos to the devs who made that mission!!! (Now all we need is the ability to use those features, like cutscenes and using BOffs as NPCs, in Foundry!)

WOW. That was one of the most epic missions I've ever played.

I'm really enjoying my Ambassador ship the USS Churchill. I put my lvl XII Omega set on it And Tetryon beams and it is just as good a ship as my Soverign.

Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?

I got a blast out of seeing CAstillo again. Never thought I'd see that character.

Maybe it was the voiceovers... maybe it was the cut-scenes... maybe it was the fact that the mission was story-based and not excessively combat intensive, but I think I enjoyed this mission more than any other played to date.  I really got the sense of immersion and suspension of disbelief.  Finally, an STO mission that feels like a Trek Sim instead of Warcraft-in-Space.

Flying the Enterprise-C was fun... not so much when you don't get all the cool toys it comes with.  Yes, Castillo was a nice suprise.

Who did you get to provide your distraction?  I chose Va'kel Shon. IDK why, but to me, the "prime" Enterprise-F captain seemed more appropriate than the other choices.

I have more than one account, but Shon was who I picked in my first go at the mission. In my second attempt I learned that he's the only one who'll assist you in causing a distraction.

If you are a klingon however, B'Vat will be the only option.
