Actually its 12/21/2012 at 11:11am UTC... so for me living in the eastern time zone of the U.S. it will be at 0611... little less than 12 hrs from the time of this post

You forget that it is daylight savings time in the South, silly!

All I have to do to know what time it is, is to look at my computer clock.

Did you expect the mayans to tell the future?

Anyway, they had many calenders, and this one just happens to indicate there will be an apocalypse. How do you know what it says anyway? the builder could have been counting the days till he was sacrificed, and we translated it wrong.

Sigh…sure would have been nice if something nice happened for a change to the earth as a whole.
As for me, it sure would have been nice If I could have sprouted wings and flown south for the winter.
