Its that time of year for Christmas related subjects soooooooo..........
Has any one ever gotten a weird, memorable or terrible Christmas gift?

There’s this friend of my mother’s who is now sick in the nursing home.  This friend of hers would occasionally masquerade as my Santa since well you know, I had no relatives of my own. So many times I was lucky if at all to get any thing under the tree as a child.  Well I did have a godparent or two but then they were the kind that were rich and cheep so I use to get used toys from her attic and cloths from them which isn’t much fun if you’re a kid who would rather have a My little pony or something.

 
But any how getting back to my mother’s friend.  When I did get a gift/s from her they were pretty unusual. She tended to buy gifts on impulse. Or at least it seemed so.  But then I would get some gifts that made sense like a makeup kit. But one year I got the weirdest of the weird.  I got this thing that tuned out to be one of those Halloween candles in the shape of an eye ball that bled simulated waxy blood when the wick was lit. Thought it was so wacky and pretty hilarious that it still sits on my writing/drawing desk to this day. When ever I see it, it makes me smile and think of the day I got it as a gift. One of the most memorable and weirdest gift I ever got.

I got some MioEnergy stuff. Never tried it but hey, what the heck! That was a lil wierd considering it came from by bro.

For the past several years I have made a point of giving someone a tin of spotted dick at christmas.
