Over 5 series and many movies does Star Trek have many contradictions?

Personally I consider all of Trek to be one massive series containing 30 seasons of tv and 10 movies. Now the 2009 film and beyond, I consider that to be separate.

I view 2009 to be more of a remake, the point of which was to get to start over and do new things without hurting anything that came before it.

Now regarding everything else, I was say Star Trek is almost flawless. Yes there are a small hand full of goof ups, but those are very few and far between. Star Trek is a masterpiece. Most tv shows that are only 1 series, and not 5 series, have major plot holes and extreme contradictions. It's insane that Star Trek has so very few, due to how large it is. I mean you'd think you'd find a contradiction in every single episode.

Star Trek is 99% perfect in my opinion, 110% perfect in my mind.

But even still, Star Trek has very few flaws. Which inconsistencies were you referring to when you said there were a lot of them Sevalan?

>Okay, I will attempt to answer your questions, but I do see your point with some of them. I'm going to write my answers next to your questions.

>I don't want to sound like a hater but...

>And some of these apply to every silence fiction show

>1 You can't go over warp 10 or can you? I've thought of this myself, but I'm told that after TOS the warp factors were re-scaled and viewed differently in the 24th Century than in the 23rd. But really what it comes down to, when they went Warp 11 in TOS, they were just making it up as they were going along and hadn't figured everything out yet.

>2 Whathappens when you leave the galaxy? Do you get a whole bunch of Gary Mitchell's or just get lost. TOS  left the galaxy a few times as did TNG at least once but only once did you get men turn into gods. Again probably making it up as they went along. I wasn't really until half way through TNG that Star Trek really got some solid continuity going.

>3 How come every alien looks human ( in TOS with a bad hairdo) in TNG and VOY and DS9 with ridges. Because it was the 60's, on a 60's tv budget, verses a late 80's and 90's tv budget, with an already larger budget than normal because it's Star Trek.

>4 How come the main bridge crew are always always on duty when any crisis occurs. Touche lol

>5 How come the computers in ENT are more advanced than TOS? They look more advanced sure, it's 1966 verses 2001. But in what way is Enterprise actually more advanced than TOS? They can only go warp 5 and can barely reach that speed. Their phase pistols have 2 settings only. No shuttle crafts, only shuttle pods. No tractor beam. Flaky universal translator and transporter. Nearly everything had to be done manually on the NX-01.

>6 How come I never heard about WW3? Because it hasn't happened yet?lol And because they had to throw a date out there. Pretty much anytime you try to predict the future there's pretty much a 99 percent chance you'll be wrong.

>7 Wasnt it amazing that thepisode that McCoy had someincurable disease they found the cure in the same episode. Totally amazing! But that was due to that in the time of TOS, they really couldn't do story arcs. Everything had to be self contained and wrapped up at the end of every episode. Just a sign of the times.

>8 If you can beam anything anywhere as it seemed in TNG and VOY then why didn't your unscrupulous  races just beam bombs or nerve gas or deadly poison aboard the Enterprise? Because that would have made for a very dull episode lol

>9.  Did Romulans have ridges? Because when Spock washiding amongst them they didn't immediately recognise him as a Vulcan spy? The Romulans didn't get ridges until TNG. Again 60's budget. Only so much they could do back then.

>10 What happened to the Xindi, the denobulans in the 23rd and 24tg centuries. What need do we have to bring them up again? Several other races in Trek were seen only once and never heard of again. Why not them? Plus there's no telling what all was changed and messed up due to the Temporal Cold War.

>Look I kthere here are fanboy explanations and reasons for them and most of them are just minor detailwe that we notice because we know the series so well Acasual fan wouldn't notice
