I love how you notice things when you go back and watch things again...The "growing" of borg babies was never touched again that I remember.  I always wished that there was more of an explination of the Borg and who they were.


But aside form that...My wife is watching with me now...not a Sci Fi or Star Trek fan but does enjoy it to a point.  I told her...You know how the Borg got started right?  Answer ofcourse no...


Some Teenager got alittle of or hand with the use of his USB port while watching Internet Porn

David Mack, in his fantastic "Destiny" trilogy, tells about the Borg origins and destiny.

When Riker saw the baby Borg in "Q Who", he assumed that the Borg gave birth the normal way and augmented them with implants later. Later episodes, such as Voyager's "Drone", establish that the babies are actually assimilated children that are placed into a maturation chamber to...well, mature.


Riker didn't know any better than to suggest otherwise.
