I was without power since Monday night at 11:15 and it just came back today around noon so I couldn't go online or do anything much the last two days

Good to see you back.  We're missing a few people that haven't checked in the last couple of days, but they're starting to.  (Vulcan Lady just checked in too.)

Thank you. I was lucky. All I lost was power. Two of my brother-in-law's kids lost their homes. One lived in Long Beach(NY) the other in West Islip

Glad you're okay JG. NY and NJ really got pounded.

There's a kind of freedom in being totally screwed, you know things can't get any worse.

Thanks.  Parts of Lynbrook are still powerless(of course the gas stations all have to be in these parts)
