Did Star Trek: Deep Space Nine have a Halloween Episode?
Which Episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine could be a Halloween Episode?

Maybe "The Passenger" because, just like Regan in "The Exorcist", Julian's body was possessed by Vantika(and the way 'Vantika' snuck up on Quark was pretty scary

I think "Empok Nor" would be a more spooky choice to watch.

Considering how dark it was, DS9 did not have a lot of truly creepy episodes -- but I agree that Empok Nor is probably the creepiest it gets.
The Passenger is fun but it's more kind of cheesy, and ultimately pretty light-hearted for the subject matter.
Others with those kind of creepy elements might be, The Alternate (where the gas from some planet gives Odo split personality) or Things Past (where Odo is reliving an event from his past during the Occupation.) Also The Darkness and the Light which is a serial killer story featuring Kira.

I think the episode where Julian is stuck in his own mind and is slowly dying after that touch telpath attacked him when julian won't give him some medical thing... that was pretty spooky

>Any Trek series with a Ferengi Starfleet Officer when the Ferengi are not a Federation member is quite enough soap opera horror for me...no disrespect.

A few things you could say to that. Aside from it being kind of racist.
Bajorans are not members of the Federation either and there are at least two Bajoran ensigns on TNG (Ro and Sito) and also a glimpse of a Ferengi ensign, even if he is only a part of some peculiar Riker fantasy.
Secondly, Nog is an excellent officer.

Oh come on. Don't be so bloody sensitive. Nothing I said was even a serious "insult" . I'm sorry but your total over-reaction was just plain silly.
But anyway, the question is -- with regard to Ensign Nog -- is your only real objection based on him being a Ferengi? In many ways his original shortcomings make him a better officer than he might otherwise have been, because
The point being of course that non-Federation members join Starfleet well before DS9. Whether their actions once there are heroic or not is, in many senses, irrelevant and tangential to the above.
The reason that I do not always quote people in full is not to quote out of context, but because I know from experience how annoying it is to have to trawl through consecutive lengthy quotations. It gets very tiresome. You mentioned Tom Riker -- the point about Tom Riker is valid, but it is not what I was responding to, and it's a simple fact that short, pithy quoted excerpts are easier for people to read and follow.

>Also, what is the difference between a serious insult and an insult (as in this case you claim) that is not serious. Are you saying you were not serious so it was no insult or what? Please elaborate...

Basically, yes. Because people do occasionally rib each other. And let's face it, we're talking about Ferengi here -- a species that doesn't really exist. If nothing else, that ought to have been a clue that whatever comments I made were never meant to be taken seriously. And there's a very good chance that on this thread you will meet another harmlessly cheeky person, and they will be harmlessly cheeky all over again. After all, no Ferengi were harmed in the course of this thread.
