Okay. So it's my first time going!

I have the Rio booked, now all that's left is the flight and Convention tickets. However only the Gold and Captain pacakges are advertized in the website. Are there more, cheaper tickets going to be coming out on sale soon, or is that it?

There are definitely cheaper tickets.  Platinum last year was about $350, and you can get standard 4 day passes for like $150 or $200.

Are those being sold yet?

I haven't been to these parties before, but it seems to me that they're holding the same party twice: once on Thursday and once on Friday. Thursday is the Gold patrons and Friday is the Captain's Chair patrons. That's all. So no, you'd only get to go once, to the party for your related package, unless you separately bought tickets to go to the other one.

I just bought my Captain's Chair tickets -- I was holding out for Preferred, but a front and center CC seat showed up just as they were about to open the next category, and I couldn't resist it. I just hope it's not as hot this year as last year.

By the way, I've stayed at the Rio and I've stayed at the Gold Coast across the street, and I prefer the Gold Coast. Not only is it cheaper (and they have a sale going on right now too!), but the buffets are more "ordinary," and so are the restaurants. I really don't like eating fancy food all the time, and if I pay $20 for a breakfast buffet, I feel I have to eat enough to make it worth the ticket. Their premium rooms aren't suites, but they're clean and decent, and I'm not in them much anyway.

Im going! This is my first convention of any kind and Im looking forward to Cosplay. I am disappointed that I didnt decide early enough to get a Gold or Captains Package, they were sold out. I only got the Preferred Weekend package. I hope its worth it. I see that without the Gold or Captains packages you have to pay extra for the dinners and parties. That sucks. Since the con is at the Rio, I figured it would be best to stay there so I wouldnt get lost, lol. But I was so excited that I booked it on my own before reading the Creation face page entirely like they tell you to, so I paid waaay too much for rooms. Oh well, live and learn.

Hope to see you there!

After purchasing a Gold Weekend Package, very regretably I am now unable to attend Star Trek Convention Las Vegas 2013.

I am looking to sell the package at face value only, not more. These tickets are sold out, so hopefully this can help someone out who would like this premium package. It can work out well for both of us.

I purchased the package early so my seat in the main hall is B-24, that's right, second row. Please do not hesitate to message me if you are interested.

Look me up on ebay under the same user name; rawscoe, for feedback reference.

Thank you.

I bought preferred weekend package and this would be my first time at a star trek convention! btw I have a question about the autographs. I really want to get Brent Spiner and Marina Sirtis's autographs, and their autograph tickets are not for sale since they are to be purchased on site directly from them. Is it hard to get their autographs? Are the lines very long? How long am I looking at here?

And when they are signing autographs, is it possible to ask them to personalize it? (like, "please make this to Zack")

If anyone can help me with these two questions I'll really appreciate it!

See you guys in 2 weeks!

the lines really depend on the person. Marina Sirtis and Brent Spiner do cons pretty often so their lines shouldn't be crazy long.

Usually creation frowns on persnalizing autographs when there is one included in the package, but since these are seperate autographs they might not be opposed to personalizin if the line isn't long. There is usually someone who works at the con guiding the lines, I would ask them first but it really depends on the mood of the actor
