BRING BACK ENTERPRISE

Star Trek ENTERPRISE was 2nd only to the Original Series. It answered alot of questions. It also had the potential to answer so many more, except the Debacle that was Season 3, Thank You Rick Berman. He had the entire Earth Romulan war to play with but NO, he comes up with that whole Xindi thing that wasted a season and I believe ultimately killed the show. an entire season telling one story?? REALLY? If you like that kind of show, watch re-runs of 24. Here is an easy solution....Just bring ENTERPRISE back, Let's see the 7 years we were cheated out of with that pathetic Final episode merged with TNG, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT???? I know it's not an easy undertaking, but it would have to be done as it was, NO JJ ABRAMS light flares, or turning the bridge into a celebration of the color BRIGHT WHITE. Do it as if it never ended, have it start up again right after the Episode TERRA PRIME. I think you would be surprised how many of the actors would jump at it. For actors it is steady work, something they can not depend on all the time. And figure a way for it to be on the SCI FY network, or TNT, or FX. I'm sorry but the CW may be part paramount, but syndication worked just fine for TNG and DS9. The Tripp character is still alive, he doesn't die for 7 years. Sorry if I sound frustrated and pissed off, it's because I AM!!! 4 years between movies is a long time. HEY PARAMOUNT This is the most successsful franchise in television history. why are you letting it just fade away?  NO NEW SHOW!!! BRING BACK ENTERPRISE!!!

As much as I'd love to see Enterprise return, I think the chances of it happening are pretty slim. I think for the next few years, the Abrams movies are all we have. And we should support them, too - they could very well be the last chance to save Star Trek.

I won't support something that just has the Star Trek name thrown onto a generic action movie at a cheap attempt to make money.

I would love to see Enterprise return, its my favorite show but it will never happen. Ever.

I would rather have no new series than have Enterprise return.  I just couldn't get interested in it.

It would be great, but I don't think it would happen. By now, the cast has moved on, so I would expect a new one. I don't think it would have enough support, and Paramout would never accept it.

Well, Data_Lives, you must not have liked any Star Trek movie since The Motion Picture because they've all been action movies! Maybe you should put an episode like Who Watches The Watchers? on repeat and just sit through it over and over and pretend that's all Star Trek is. Star Trek is an action show. It always has been. The new movies are awesome and, yes, they are Star Trek. As for Enterprise coming back, that's a pipe dream that'll never happen. When they canceled it, they buried it. End of story.

Ahh, Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb which tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It's very cold....in space.

You're not really bringing a convincing argument to the table here. Yes, I'd love to have some more of ENT, but the show was unfortunately the victim of Star Trek fatigue, as well as some questionable writing choices during season 3.

I would fully throw my support behind an animated format, but unlike the TOS actors, I don't see most of the ENT crew coming back for voice overs. Besides, iPhone Store bridge or not, the new franchise is shapping up to be a money train, and no movie exec wants to stop a money train. That's why Spider Man got rebooted just a few years after the third one.

Unfortunately i think ENT's time came and went before it should have, but that's what the dice roll came out to be.

There are still rumors that an ENT animated series will follow Star Trek Into Darkness, but I have friends who claim it could be a nuTrek animated series, so we'll have to wait and see.

I think Data_lives means a CHEAP action movie, as in one where everyone runs around making impossible jumps, firing phasers, dying, and not having a deeper plot, instead of having a movie that involves character, plot, and action. All of the real star trek movies involve character and morality. The reboot, nothing beyond Nero's emo-ness

As for Enterprise, I think an animated series would be great, though I prefer real actors, but it would be hard to get the origonal voices back. Maybe they could try to clean up of These are the Voyages...'s stupidity

Is there anyone out there remember when the network was going to cancel Star Trek? Well, if there is, surely you remember the letter writing blitz that stalled that cancellation. I was only one of the writers and basically I said that I’ve never heard of a business that doesn’t like to make a profit on a product. Your product is Star Trek and here are some venues of profit: TV, advertisers would pay a bundle to advertise during its transmission to our homes, because Star Trek has a strong following – i.e. there are a lot of people who wouldn’t miss an episode and they’d be most likely to purchase a product advertised on their favorite series. And don’t forget there can be other programs that would find its roots in the Star Trek (of the sixties) – the story never ends, also movies, what an idea, yes more money made, is the idea. Products: Novels, Comic books, Coloring books, lunch boxes, personal appearances of the actors, special events with the Star Trek and so on.  I didn’t think of the avenue of profit at Kings Island – there are Star Trek characters walking around the “theme park.” I met some Vulcans, and had my picture taken with them. Speaking of photo ops, at a Star Trek Event I had the privilege of not just having a photo(s) taken with James “Scotty” Doohan I was able to pass on a copy of a story I wrote – so many years ago – as a tribute to his character, ‘… the very private Commander Montgomery Scott.’ I found those photos recently, and was amazed that they reflected just how much fun him and I had talking to each other. I was very nervous; had an important appointment that day too, which involve taking a group of teens on a 125 canoe trip on the Current River, that’s in good ol’ MO. Also King Island has replicas of the Enterprise in a court yard themed area. It was like being at Star Fleet Academy. Anyway, we did keep Star Trek in orbit for a while longer. And I’m proud of all the spin offs that has resulted in just one TV series of my youth. So, all you fans of ‘where no man (one) has gone before,’ be proud of who you are, because aside from the more recent Star Wars, I’ve not seen such following since Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Tex Ritter (dad of the late John Ritter) and many other Saturday afternoon adventurers at the movies. Thank you, Gene Roddenbury, where ever you are. "Enterprise, one to beam up."

Maybe not a series renewal, but a TV minie series that fixes everything that was messed up with TATV.

I would like for them to make a movie with the crew of Enterprise NX01.

I like the way they saw everything new ,for the first time. Not knowing

what or how it would work.
