Star Trek

It would be interesting to hear what hobbies and interests other contributors to this site have. (That can be besides Star Trek.) We also can't put this on our profiles.

Mine mainly are quite a number, being: reading, writing, travel, computers, drawing (including with computers), the USA, space travel, esoteric (e.g. Astrology, UFOs, Atlantis), some sci-fi (especially Star Trek), aviation, snow skiing, ancient civilisations, and the ocean.  

Besides Star Trek? Guitar and gaming. Thats about it.

Greek mythology, sci-fi, movies, writing, drawing, [I have accounts on deviantart & fanfiction.net] singing, travel when I can afford it, etc.

I also have a peripheral interest in the paranormal, just because regardless of whether you believe it or not, it's pretty damn interesting.

In addition to all scifi subjects, I enjoy music (mostly classical and light operas), biographies, good films, comedies and travel.

I draw dragons, play soccer, and collect medical encyclopedias, although i have no intrest in medical science, dissagree with the government, and obsess over a variety of illogical shows and passtimes (namely afv.) also, i am a poet and flute player.

That is a cool avatar,sylveadiff!  You also seem to have travel photography as a hobby, too!

I know it's evil, wicked, absolutely crazy to talk about Star Wars here, but I can't seem to find their message board. Does anyone know what happened to it? 

Sewing stuff. Currently recycling my old blanket that sort of like a quilt already and sewing on new squares of material. Or rather laundried vintage cut in squares and then sewn on to the old blanket.

I also love cooking, baking and making other things.

Pets are my hobbies as well.
Collecting things.
Surfing the net.
Sometimes writing stories which is connected to the activities below.
But illustration, designing, painting and occasionally animating  are a career choice.

I also like to sew. But I'm in the closet with that hobby because I'm not sure anyone would understand. 

There are plenty of people at Instructables.com that get it.  In case you would like to share any thing or download plans to things. It has robots to, well things to sew.

I love to read, especially science fiction. Really love Frank Herbert(greatest writer ever IMHO), David Weber(mostly his Honor Harrington universe) and Gordon R. Dickson's Childe Cycle series. Also like The Dark Tower series, The Green Mile and The Stand by Stephen King.

I like to play Super Tecmo Bowl on Nintendo, motorcycling, bowling, pool and hiking. Like to dance, like all music just about, from Dubstep and metal to pop and classical. Also love to listen to my Easy Does It collection, right now it's up to 16 CD's, with songs like Goodbye Blue Sky by Pink Floyd, Angel Monster by Buckethead, Firefly theme song, Collie Weed by 6BLOCC, Heavy Thinkers by Swollen Members and many more.

I like to cook(usually turns out well, sometimes not). I make a darn good Green Chili Hummus and Thai Chili/Basil Hummus. Making a red onion, avocado and jalapeno hummus right now and I do like a good Reposado Tequila, also makes a great addition to latin based dishes.

And I love American Football, I have my favorite teams, but I'll watch any game, it's Football. Also just got in to Fantasy Football this year, am having a fun time with that.

When i'm not at school i also like watching Anime, i work out a lot and do a lot of video editing too

My hobbies include, but are not exclusively: hiking mountains, reading, writing poetry, collecting coins, running, disc golf, listening to music, occasionally playing music.

Gardening, cooking, reading, calligraphy, environmental projects, celtic studies.......and Star Trek of course.
