I think she was the most annoying reccuring character ever. What about you?

I don't hate her, but I certainly don't find her very inspirational. Yet, there were a number of other characters I found more annoying.

I definately hate her! Words cannot express how much yelling at the tv screen she inspired. As a character she's fabulous though

I suppose too for the reason she made a development from being in the first season very bad to less in the last. Sisko had to deal with her before she had become Kai & especialy after. As Jake once mentionend to his dad: "Since when can you trust her?" Either way in the final ep she tried to stop Dukat besides the fact that she worshiped the powerwraths.

I love to hate her. In the sense (as others have mentioned) that she is a fantastically complex villain. My opinion of her certainly improved over subsequent viewings probably precisely because she is so complex.

Kai Winn is nothing but self-serving zealot who cares more about her reputation then carrying out the "will of the prophet". Plus she could not tell the difference between a prophet and Pah-wraith let alone messenger from them.
