Observations reveal that Vesta seems to be as indeed previous level of a (not formed) planet. Also a asteroid had smacked into his south pole.

That is an awesome report!  The photo almost looks like those troughs go all the way to the poles, at regular intervals.  It looks like a ball composed of strips glued or sewn together, doesn't it?
