I agree with that! The whole Dominion War was epic! As was Major Kira. I never liked her hair in season 7, though.

I'm pretty much with a lot of the posts here. DS9 is rare in that unlike all of the other Series' I don't think I can pick one or even five episodes that I could call the best. This show just had so many. It definitely had the best acting cast of the series.

I don't think anyone's mentioned His Way yet.  It was a gutsy thing to bring an early 1960s night club to Star Trek.  Yet, they pulled it off and it became a fun part of the show as well as advancing the plot.

My favourite DS9 episodes are Far Beyond the Stars, What You Leave Behind, & Move Along Home.

I love all the ferengi episodes. Except The Emperor's New Cloak. Too much Ezri and Mirror Kira.

I loved the Vic Fontaine episodes... but the absolute best of all that is DS9... is probably "Far Beyond the Stars" and "Past Tense I/II".  The former reminding us of what GR tried to do with the original Trek--create morality plays that would get past the censors of the day; the latter is a story that paralells "The City on the Edge of Forever".

I did absolutely LOVE "Little Green Men" as a great distraction from the dark gritty main storyline...

Just finished re-watching Chimera. It is a great episode.

One of my problems with DS9 is that it often does too much telliing and not enough showing. Not so with this episode. You see Odo's inner conflict over his species, being away from home, being alone, the war, his relationship with Kira and other solids. And this episode demonstrates and fleshes out probably better than any other precisely what the root of the conflict is between Changlings and solids.

I am just after watching the first season. I was not really fond of the series at first, but now I start to appreciate it. What is more, yesterday I watched "Duet" and.. I cried so hard! I think the last time a ST episode brought me to tears was the TNG "The Bonding". I can't imagine how good other episodes have to be to beat "Duet".
Truly, if the show keeps on with this perfect acting and plots, that will be endangering my finals

Circle trilogy, if wishes were horses, all ferengi episodes, all early dax episodes (insane host discovered, encountering old hosts, trial to for if she responsiple for a murder supposedly done by the "old man", and when the guy steal symbiot), You are cordially invited, all holideck episodes; for strands: Miles and Obrian, all nod and jake, all Odo and Quark, I also love the char or the main vorta.
