I was watching Voyager on Netflix I noticed they have some of season one episodes in listed under season 2. Have you noticed that? Just wonder why it would be listed like that.
Also it says there are 169 total episodes. I thought there were 172.
Thank you,

I have an answer for you. The episodes listed as Season 2 episodes that are Season 1, what are they?
I can tell you that the 37's, Twisted, Projections, and Elogium were all episodes filmed for Season 1 of Voyager, but they were incorporated into season 2. The reason for this was to keep Season 1 of Voyager in sync with Season 3 of DS9.
So they are technically Season 2 episodes even though they were already filmed.
Now the episode count, there are 168 episodes total, but you get 172 by counting the 2 hour episodes as 2 episodes instead of 1.
Caretaker, Endgame, Dark Frontier, Flesh and Blood, those are all 2 hour episodes, but they are considered 1 episode. But they are the equivlant of 2. So if you count them as 2 you get the higher number.
Hope that helps

I think you answered it right. It says TOS has 80 episodes. I guess they are just counting differently.
I tried to post the list netflix had for season 1 and 2 but it deleted when I hit submit.

haha Well TOS is listed as having 80 episodes because they also include The Cage. Most people don't count The Cage as it was the unaired pilot. They just count Where No Man Has Gone Before and The Menagerie Part 1 and 2. But with The Cage included it makes it 80 episodes.
Counting all of the 2 hour episodes as 1 episode, and this also includes TAS, there are 715 episodes of Star Trek total.
79 for TOS
22 for TAS
176 for TNG
173 for DS9
168 for Voyager
97 for Enterprise.
