Yeah, but the work-around is, or could be, that the 'pod has a backup battery just for gravity, that can't be tapped for anything else. Then again, asking technical questions gets you into the land of Treknobabble, which I got very sick of on TNG, DS9, and VGR... //sigh// "...so many (male) (Human) Starfleet officers, so little time..."
