I do not agree with "The Physics of Star Trek" that transporting someone wihtout any apparent change to the person would prove the the soul doesn't exist b/c they would be killed; I thought about it fro years after reading that book (which was published in 1995, but I recieved a copy from a friend I thin in 1997), but have now come to the conclusion that it would be the same as saying 100-years ago that seeming dead from a heart attack or drowning would prove that, which we would now see as superstition; but I wanted to put the question out to you guys and gals and see what you think of it.
