What are some of your favorite fair foods?  Things like funnel cakes, potato ribbons, big pretzles, elephant ears, ect.  Even the odd ones like deep fried butter, deep fried twinkies, deep fried Kool-aid, ect.

And on that last note, what are some of the oddest fair foods you have seen or even tried?

I love funnel cakes and Dippin Dots!  We used to have a vendor at the local fair that had Rocky Mountain Oysters.  I had seen them at other bigger fairs, too.  Yummmy!  Now I'm hungry

I think americans have way more exciting fair food than we do,.     I'd say candy apples

I'm a fan of corn on the cob! Yummy! I've seen things like fried oreos and fried twinkies, but never tried them!

Ditto on that. Got to say candy apples as well. Caramel apples, popcorn homemade frozen lemonade.

I'm a sucker for a good funnel cake.

me too brother me too but have you ever tryed making it? It can be messy. I think every culture has the recipe for a kind of funnel cake, some call it fried dumpling, other cultures make it into a sweet ball, and other cultures just make it into a sugar stick either or they all taste as good.

For a main meal, I'd get  one of those turkey legs or sausage and peppers on a roll, for snack/dessert-Funnel cake!

Fried twinkies sound good!  And, the traditional watermelon and ice cream, too!

Corn dogs! One of the oddest I've seen (but not tried) is chocolate covered bacon.

Cotton candy is another good fair/carnival treat!  And shaved ice or snow cones are yummy, too 

No I only want to eat one at a fair otherwise its just weird.

The fair around here doesn't have it every year, but when they do I never miss a chance to get a meat parfait.

Chocolate Eclair Hot Dog

I've heard of those, but haven't tried one yet.  And that eclair hot dog???    Although it makes me think of the Krispy Kreme hamburger.  I was listening to the Bob & Tom radio show and they tried that.  They said the chocolate Krispy Kreme hamburger was better.  I haven't tried that either
