i hope that they make a new startrek show that will have the voth again.

The Voth definetly evolved from earth dinosaurs. How they got out to the Delta quadrant and built transwarp ship is just another mystery of that unexplored part of space. My theory is that either before or after the meteor that wiped the dinosaurs, the Voth could of traveled to delta quadrant to establish colonies just like the humans did when they started to colonize planets near earth. My guess is that they lost contact with earth and decided to make the Delta quadrant home. They then started to work fast on building ships like that city ship. The Doctrine probably turnded a blind eye to engineering scientists and let them build stuff like the city ship.
