Also, I just tried to make a post. Filled out the CAPTCHA and hit post. I did not receive an error and I couldn't see the post. I reposted and then saw my post twice.

Very frustrating.

Very common lately - when you post, it may take several minutes for it to show up...

Amen, clearly none of the designers have even tried to post here. If they had, they'd see immediately why it's a bad idea. Having it on the login is the ONLY logical choice.

Yes, it's been slow to react to posting, and it was slow to react when I changed my signature.

EDIT: The Captcha disappeared when I quoted.

This has been a problem from the very beginning. What happens is that when you quote and submit, the system takes you to the first page of the thread. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and your post and Captcha will (usually) show up. Just enter in the Captcha and submit and you should be good.
