I would love it. It would be interesting to see how many and who of the original DS9 cast would re-appear.

To be hoenst, I wouldn't watch it. I thought the relaunch novels did a splendid job at detailing what happened after the series ended. Even if I overlook that, there's still the fact that some of the people are just a bit too old for their roles.

Good point. I'm sure it would be hard to make Odod look like Odo as old as Rene is, just like the difficulties they had with Data in Nemesis.
I just found this great Star Trek MB!!

I'd like to see it, but I'm not very hopeful at this point. The franchise seems committed to making movies on the alternate timeline. The actors are getting too old to play the same roles anymore, and would it really be the same if they brought in mostly new actors? And then, DS9 was not the most popular of the Trek shows, and has not been on reruns so much, so it doesn't have much of a builtin fan base.
It would also need a really good writer, who would create a new situation and introduce some interesting new characters, and yet also keep the old chemistry alive. I realize many won't share this opinion, but I think less than half of the Trek movies have really had a good 2+ hours worth of entertainment value. In order to please a general audience, they have to introduce characters and situations to people who haven't practically memorized all 7 seasons of DS9, but the very process of reintroducing the characters will bore the longtime fans. The regular characters from the show can end up being little more than cameos.
However, maybe they could tie up some loose ends with the Maquis. They still need to get Tom Riker out of jail. Maybe he and some other Maquis broke out in the late phases of the Dominion War.

Star Trek: Captain Warf
There are rumblings of this and I hope it's connected to DS9 and exporing the Galaxy on the other side of the wormhole.Definitely somthings movies could be made about. More importantly it could be a jumping off of a couple of storylines of exploration beyond the wormhole which was always a very underdeveloped opening up of the Star Trek Universe. Having the ability to have more convenient crossover stories between a Captain Worf story and potentially a Captain Sisko (in command of a exploration ship) and DS9 could be pretty sweet. Think about Sisko with the power of "Q", but without hte arrogance and not wanting the ability even in the midst of creating occasional miracles.

Actually you could probably get away with Odo-makeup because even on the original show, Rene Auberjonois was not a young guy. As to the others, DS9 ended 13 years ago, right? So it could work if you make a post-series movie 13 years later.
That said, i still think that we don't really need a movie.

I'd do ANYTHING for them to start making DS9 or VOY episodes again, or at least a movie for each. I'd also like to see another TNG movie, but they got a bunch already, so I'd love to see some from DS9 or VOY. Preferably DS9, because there's not much they can really do with VOY. But I just want another GOOD Star Trek movie that is based on TNG, VOY or DS9.

The people are to old. Both Sisko and Odo are supposed to be ageless, and they've aged 20+ years.
Also, DS9 wraps it up really well, and I think a movie could make it not as satisfying. For example, The Undiscovered Country wrapped TOS up well. They all flew into the sunset. the ship was being decommisioned, but everything was good and happy. Then they made Generations, and killed of Kirk, and pretty much ruined the spirit. If DS9 had a movie, they'd probably kill Julian or Kira.

DS9, being a space station, seems to be more-suited to a series, with recurring characters, rather than a movie. Most movies are about journeys of some kind.
But, a DS9 movie could begin there, with popular characters, as long as the heroes go somewhere.

Netflix, Amazon Prime, DVD Video, etc. just like any other series. Well, you can get them free at tv-links.eu if you want to be illegal, but I think you should support it if you like it.

Andrew Robinson is 70 now and doesn't seem to have done any acting for the last 7 years. My guess is he wouldn't be interested in returning to the role of Garak, and he was such an important character it wouldn't be the same without him.
