The cheaper tickets for the event are not on sale yet.
You'll have to keep checking the website www.creationent.com/cal/st_lasvegas.htm
or sign up there for their newsletter to alert you to when those cheaper tickets become available.

I've never been to a convention before even though I've wanted to go desperately. My sister's were able to go to last years the 25 Anniversary for TNG in Vancouver, BC.
I wish I could have gone but was unable to afford it. They were awesome and brought me back an autograph from Levar Burton which is awesome and a few things from other shows that were at the convention.
Maybe this year I can go...

Hi I just stumbled upon this thread and has some great info regarding the Las Vegas Convention. I'm looking at going to it next year and needed to know a few things which alot have been answered here while planning the trip from Australia. I have a few more questions if anyone could answer them for me.
1st How much time are the Star Trek Stars available on the flour for autographs. Also roughly how much do they charge and do they have a pictures that they sign or do you need to provide your own.
2nd Is the Gold Pass worth it in people’s opinions. I'm thinking of getting it normally I wouldn't get a premium ticket to a convention but not knowing how big this convention is and how much room they have in the talks and stuff thinking it would be worth it to not miss out on anything.
3rd What times does things run to and form such as does everything finish at say 6pm or are there things on latter than that. Also what it like in the Rio outside of the Convention is there general partying and drinking with other fans going on at the bars and stuff after hours or do people go their separate ways at the close each day.
4th The Gold Pass includes GOLD PATRONS THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER PARTY & SATURDAY DESSERT PARTY and ENTERTAINMENT with delicious desserts. Has anyone ever attended these and are they worth going to and what time do they run until.
I know I have asked alot of questions and any help would be appreciated.

I've only been to the 2012 convention but hopefully can answer some of these...I did some of the photo ops but not autographs...Sirtis was about $40, Sisko and Janeway were about $60, and Shatner was about $100. I'm pretty sure I remember autographs being the same price and you needed to bring your own goods to have autographed. I did the platinum level tickets (~$300), and for 2013 either want to go up to gold (mostly for the parties and dinners), or just do general admission. The reserved seats in the main hall were only OK at the $300 price, and you couldn't cut in line for photo ops so it wasn't really worth it. The convention hall will fit everyone for the talks, so it really is just about the quality of the seats. Rio was fun - my buddy and I saw other trekkers drinking past midnight every night, but the crowd does thin out later on of course. That said, with thousands of people there, it isn't like everyone goes everywhere at the same time (except for the captain's talks in the main hall). Can't help with the 4th question as I didn't do gold last time.
Hope this helps, and happy planning
