While discussing a different matter on another post, the thought occurred to me that it would be interesting to have a ship crewed by all telepaths.  They would be difficult, though not impossible, to deceive.  And, it could be very quiet aboard, if they only "spoke" with their minds!

What do you think?

Also, I wonder:  Do Vulcans ever visit Risa?  If so, what do you imagine they do there?

What would be the plot or storyline if everyone knew what everyone else was thinking or doing?  And Vulcan's don't participate in fun or frivilious endeavors, do they?  Just some food for thought.

A Betazoid crew may be a little more lively, the Aenar would spice things up as well, I know there are other telepathis species in Trek as well, the Talosians for example. You could still have a diverse crew of telepaths, a crew of all Vulcans would probably get pretty boring. Another thought, you could use the Romulan telepresence device, so only telepaths could operate the ship. (They still have manual controls just in case)

Never drink with your enemies! Well, maybe just one round...

I think Vulcans might go to Risa to 'observe illogical huminoid behavior at its height' and various cultures' mating rituals! They'd take a scientitific curiousity in observing this world from a sociological point of view.
