OK I saw a lot of talk about this. But with all the safe guards On this place. How the hell are they doing this.

It's actuallly not difficult to write a macro to do it. I have a couple of people that do this sort of thing for me at work to test things before deploying new software.

I haven't been on here in forever because I've been so busy, and I come back, and the boards are in such bad shape. It's really quite sad.

Also, they can spam all they want, I just bump other topics. Eventually, admin cleans the mess up.

My question is-how many email addresses does this spammer even have? You need a seperate email address for each account you create here(the spammer has several apparently) and there are only a certain amount of site to create an email address from(many of which has already been banned from this site)

Juliansgirl,

I am no expert, but I have heard folks bragging that they have some kind of scrambling device that keeps admin from reading what routing system they are using to log in. So no matter how many times they are banned, they simply create a new account.

I don't know if the admins changed it, but someone said a while back that when creating an account here, there's no confirmation e-mail, so they don't even have to have a valid e-mail account... If that's still true, then that allows someone to create an unlimited number of accounts here without any valid e-mail address.
