Was the Borg overused in Voyager

Wouldn't it be great if there was a new series with new characters you come to know and love, and after 7 seasons, the last episode is everyone being assimilated?

My biggest complaint with the Borg in Voyager is that the producers put a face on them.  First Contact did it first, but Voyager took it to the exterme of making the Queen and Janeway arch-rivals of each other.  I still think the Borg-Queen was the moment the Borg ceased being threatening and back just another enemy-race.  To me that hurt the Borg more than overusing them.
