Now scientists have learned not only how massive Tau Boo is — roughly six times the size of Jupiter — but, more impressively, have gotten a readout of carbon monoxide in its atmosphere.

The good news is that the telescope has discovered Carbon Monoxide that contains one atom of Carbon and one atom of Oxygen.

This means that there is not carbon dioxide on the planet but still may mean that life exists in plant form and that the planet may be undergoing an evolutionary change that will one day be able to support human life.

Where there is carbon and oxygen the chance for life to exist is increased to 65%
