the boards have been barely functioning the last few days.  Try using the forum jump at the bottom of the pages.

But the problem was it didn't keep them out and suspended members that were not involved with it

My friend, Data's Girl, got banned from here for no good reason. Can you please un-ban her from the site?

I also would like to see her re-instated. She is part of our RPG group, one of the most active threads on the site. The fact we get punished just for using the site is illogical . We have remained loyal to Trek.com despite the many problems the site has endured lately, and being banned just for posting a lot is targ manure. Grade A targ manure. Whatever you are doing, it is only driving away loyal site users, and not keeping spammers out. 

I just got my first message, I never knew this feature existed, I find it annoying having to worry if your typing to fast or if its too short. I dont think this system will work, I find that too many rules can break a website; its no fair to the members trying. There are already messures like capcha, that already makes it hard to type. It shouldnt be anyones fault if you type to fast or your message is too small?

I JUST FOUND THIS TODAY. AND YES I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT TYPES WITH 2 FINGERS. I CAN DO 5 TO 10 WORDS A MINUTE. YES, I HAVE A LOT TO SAY BUT IT TAKES TO LONG TO DO IT!

DEAR ADMIN,

MY account, Roboto, was disabled for "spamming". This was incorrect. I had been experiencing a host of internet problems (such as my browsers "freezing") and had to double-click the "submit" button a few times to get some posts to go through. I expect this is what caused the action.

I HAVE BEEN ON THIS SITE SINCE 2006 (posting since 2009), not as long many others, but I have had many great times here, never doing anything worse than annoying a few trolls and being my good ol' youngster self.

*PLEASE* reinstate my account! Thank you!

(For the record, this account belongs to a friend who uses it to browse... so, no, this is not "my dual" account. No rules being broken. I just wanted this post to be out there so as to bring this situation to your attention.)

Admins - Please reinstate xXLadyDataXx & Roboto as the system incorrectly locked them out.
