I was just watching endgame great episode, two questions.

1. The meds that admiral janway gets from the doctor, is that the stuff that the borg queen assimalted at the end?

2. When janeway was talking to the queen about dragging voyager home, was that part of the plan or was she being serious?

Thanks!

1 - Yes, as she was preparing to leave Voyager aboard her shuttle she injected herself with the pathogen.

2 - Part of the plan. She wanted the Queen to assimilate her (and the pathogen), so she needed a cover story for why she was at the unicomplex.

1. No, the drug the Doctor gets Adm. Janeway in 2404, Chronexaline, was to prevent harmful exposure to tachyon radiation emitted by the chrono deflector.

I'm not sure its ever explained where the neuralytic pathogen came from, but it isn't too far fetched to assume the Doctor could produce it on Voyager or that Adm. Janeway would know how to make it.

I think it's the same stuff that Icheb was genetically designed to produce, as revealed in "Child's Play". Don't quote me on it, though.
