Definitely Ezri Dax. She was a lot like Jadzia but she had more attributes. She was humble and compassionate.

>I voted for Keiko O'Brien (other). I think when she accidentally fell off that ledge, that took courage for her actress to do. I like her nice personality. I do think her character could've been developed more if she had used her botany skill to position plants in many places of DS9.

Some aspects of Keiko seemed like a weak spot in DS9 to me. DS9 should have been a better place for a botanist than the Enterprise. She should have been happy about being posted there. On the Enterprise, they're on to a new planet every week, and there's never enough time to investigate the planets in detail before moving on. On DS9, there are many worlds within reach of a runabout on both sides of the wormhole that Keiko could survey in detail.

Andrew Robinson as Garak # 1, Armin Shimerman as Quark #2, Marc Alaimo as Gul Dukat #3. But Nana Visitor as Kira Nerys was the hottest!
The truth is usually just an excuse for a lack of imagination.

I'm not at all sure about that! DS9 is/was a mining station. She could have set up some kind of workplace for herself somewhere, but it's basically this big metal thing essentially in the middle of nowhere -- one reason why she was so eager to get away from it to go to a planet. As someone who spent a large part of my childhood in small mining towns, even surrounded by wilderness, I know how unhappy and isolated that kind of environment can make young mothers feel.

Why doesn't Elim Garak have his own entry on the list?
