Definitely Ezri Dax. She was a lot like Jadzia but she had more attributes. She was humble and compassionate.

Some aspects of Keiko seemed like a weak spot in DS9 to me.  DS9 should have been a better place for a botanist than the Enterprise.  She should have been happy about being posted there.  On the Enterprise, they're on to a new planet every week, and there's never enough time to investigate the planets in detail before moving on.  On DS9, there are many worlds within reach of a runabout on both sides of the wormhole that Keiko could survey in detail.

Andrew Robinson as Garak # 1, Armin Shimerman as Quark #2, Marc Alaimo as Gul Dukat #3. But Nana Visitor as Kira Nerys was the hottest!

I'm not at all sure about that! DS9 is/was a mining station. She could have set up some kind of workplace for herself somewhere, but it's basically this big metal thing essentially in the middle of nowhere -- one reason why she was so eager to get away from it to go to a planet. As someone who spent a large part of my childhood in small mining towns, even surrounded by wilderness, I know how unhappy and isolated that kind of environment can make young mothers feel.

Why doesn't Elim Garak have his own entry on the list?

I must echo sentaments for Bashir.  He's not really a bad guy, just misunderstood maybe.  As far as his genetic condition, how can he be held responsible for his family's actions before he was even born?  He didn't know about them till LONG after he joined Starfleet.  I think Starfleet did the right thing by not kicking him out when they found out, even though his father was subsequently arrested.

Bashir was always my favorite, but Jadzia runs a close second.

What no (egg)Nog? My favorie character in DS9 was Jedzia because joined trills are interesting for obvious reasons, it was so weird and funny that Siscko called her "old man". But Not one my heart as favorite when he proved to be a mavrick by Ferengi standards and joined Starfleet lol.

Jadzia Dax, hands down!  A flashback episode showing Jadzia before she was joined to Dax and what it was like for her soon after would have been nice.

Quark and Garak, they have some great lines and often offer a different perspective on things than standard human federation view.

I liked Worf. I really had liked him in TNG and when he came to DS9 I was then hooked on that show. DS9 has alot of great characters though. Also Dr. Bashir should have been included in that list. How was it that the station's Dr. was forgotten?
