Grill time - Anyone got any recepies?

When it comes to food my mouth just waters. Summer cooking is the best time to bring out the grill, there is nothing like the smell of burnt charcoal over the BBQ or fire pit. Got any great outdoor food ideas?

grilling or BBQ?  They're really different things.

I prefer to grill, but don't really get into BBQ.

Just to correct you. The only difference is the amount of time and heat. Thanks though.

Go to the south - they'll tell you otherwise.  They take a lot of pride in BBQ.

Just the traditional Worcestershire sauce.

Plus, my family likes onion-powder, but I don't.

Remember the days when a "Barbecue" was basically a slab of metal on a rock oven, you were as likely as not to catch flies in your mouth, and sausages were slapped onto a bit of bread with as much charcoal as there was meat?

Salt and pepper or some kind of BBQ sauce is usually all I need on a good pork chop, steak or chicken breast or leg.

Reminds me, I'm out of propane.

Nothing North of the Equator is really "Southern".

In this house hold we tend to grill year round.  We’ve grilled the traditional steak, ribs, kabobs to something call cha-wab-chee. Actually here’s a Serbian spelling, “cevap” but not sure how the Croatians spell it. Its just sounded that way not sure of the exact spelling but it’s a traditional little meat wad or something that looks like a large meat pellet eaten thought out the Slavic countries with a bit of onions and fresh bread.  Its quite tasty.
Also we’ve rotisserie-ed duck , chicken and an occasional turkey.

Here is a recipe if you would like to try a traditional grilled meat pellet.
